What a sweet surprise in my inbox tonight!
Carissa W., one of my customers, ordered a cake for her daughter, Charlotte. Carissa had a few stipulations; it needed to coordinate with her invitations, not be covered in fondant (fondant accents ok), and have a Blabla Bubbles the Cat doll on it somewhere.
I designed a cake with matching multi-colored pennants and yarn balls. That was the easy part. Then, I decided I would replicate a Bubbles doll and perch it on the top of the cake. What was I thinking? Oh, I wasn’t, because I like to open my mouth and say “I can do that.” I apparently like having panic attacks at 37 minutes before I have to leave to deliver a cake about 40 minutes away. Seriously, for realz, I love being challenged and love pleasing my customers with exactly what they want.
So back to my sweet surprise…
Carissa sent me pictures of
my Charlotte’s cake AND she told me her party pictures were featured on one of my favorite party blogs (I only have 637 favorites.) Here’s a linky-link to the post. What do you think? Didn’t Carissa do a stupendous job theming this party! I can’t wait for Charlottes’s party this year. She’s already picked out the 3D Cinderella carriage cake. Stay tuned for more beautiful party pics from Carissa!
